TimberNook is coming to White Ranch Open Space this summer! We are enrolling now for summer sessions and will announce dates for our fall programs for toddlers, preschoolers, and home school students soon! TimberNook is an innovative, award-winning, and international nature program for all children. We intricately weave the therapeutic aspects of nature with our unique understanding of child development to create an outdoor program that supports every aspect of the growing child. We do this by skillfully using the environment as inspiration for creative play opportunities that challenge the mind, the body, and the senses. Follow TimberNook of Jeffco-Boulder on Facebook, TimberNookJeffcoBoulder on Instagram, or email Amanda.Poole@TimberNook.com for more information!
Our beautiful site this summer is near the West Trailhead of White Ranch Open Space, at 25303 Belcher Hill Road. Leave your child with us and explore the 5,000 acres at White Ranch, or head into nearby Golden for the day.
Amanda Poole is a Nationally Certified School Psychologist with over a decade of experience working with children with and without special needs. She has a Master's degree in Developmental Psychology and a Specialist degree in School Psychology. She has taken a leap of faith in leaving her job with the school district, but she is chasing a long-standing dream and fully believes in the power of play. She loves watching children make friends while building their confidence and creativity playing and working together at TimberNook. She is passionate about inspiring learning through play, and is excited to bring TimberNook to Colorado!
Our team members this summer are all experienced professionals from education, occupational therapy, or social work backgrounds.
