Krista is a special needs teacher in Central Ohio. She has worked in a variety of Special Education class settings involving many types of disabilities for over 20 years in the public school system. She remains teaching today in an Autism Unit for elementary age students. Krista loves exploring the outdoors and enjoys a good run in the morning before school. She has completed over 89 marathons as a runner. She likes to end her day with a good book! She has spent a decade of summers working as a camp counselor at sports camp along with serving as a church camp counselor. She is excited to combine her love of nature and desire to guide children while also serving their families. Krista is joined by her husband and four children in Powell, Ohio to provide a great TImberNook experience. Krista became interested in becoming a TimberNook provider when a few of her students’ parents brought to her attention the lack of camps available for kids to explore and learn in nature. She feels it is a critical need many don’t have access to, especially children with sensory needs. Prepare your kids for lots of exploring and fun at TimberNook Central Ohio!!!
